A small paradise

A small paradise

How naïve I was, it has been just two months since I finished my last year of college, and considering that I only needed to do my thesis work, I thought I would have time to do many things. Time to read, to write, to draw, to go out to take pictures and many more things. But, as usual, I was not being realistic AT ALL.

I had a thousand ideas of things to add to the blog and, as I suppose you will have noticed, I have written almost nothing.

In these two months I have been working on my thesis work, which is taking me much more time than I thought. On the other hand, I have inevitably fallen back into my unhealthy obsession with reading.

And, in a way, thanks to this obsession in which I have fallen again I have discovered another small paradise in Valencia.

Re-Read, a low-cost bookstore in Valencia.

It is a wonderful place located in Gran Vía de Ramón y Cajal where you can buy (and sell) second hand books in a really good state and at a much more than affordable price.

1 book for 3€

2 books for 5€

5 books for 10€

“I am just going to look” that was the lie I kept telling myself. But when I got in there and I found myself in front of all those books I couldn’t resist.

“Well, just a book” I said at first, but before I knew it, I had two in my hands. And when I was ready to pay I was already carrying five.

Finally I decided to give a new home to five beautiful books, although I must admit that I would have liked to take some more.

Cada vez que abres un libro puedes viajar a lugares fantásticos y lejanos; puedes dejar de ser tú para ser otra cosa, lo que te de la real gana; y puede vivirían vida llena de aventuras.
Realmente creo que es la forma más barata de viajar!
