It’s been a busy weekend. I know that working on Saturdays until 9 PM doesn’t seem that I have much free time to do things on the weekend, but even so, a single day offers an infinity of possibilities.
Last Saturday, when I left work I went to have dinner with some friends of Jon, who had the nice detail of preparing vegetarian food so that I could have variety and be comfortable. I must admit that I slept like a baby that night and it took me time and effort to get up the next morning.
Sunday was productive, I was able to read a bit in the morning before going to a family meal and then in the afternoon I went with Jon to the cinema, but not before going to La Rollerie for some tea. The cafeteria is gorgeous, is decorated so that it seems that you are taking tea in a garden and the teas and sweets that are offered are delicious and come out for a very good price. The only bad thing was that as it was the final match of the Football World Cup they were a little slow serving (and they were wrong with my order) but it is are forgiven and we will definitely go back.
At end the afternoon we went to the cinema to see Mary Shelley, but you already know about that, you can read the review here.
It’s funny how making the most of my only free day makes me face the week with more enthusiasm and energy. Does the same thing happen to you?
