I introduced Tambor to you some time ago, but I have never talked exclusively about my little Flor. I know that many of you don’t care about rabbits, but as it is my blog I do what I want!
Flor is a 3-month old little dwarf bunny. She is the princess of the house.
She arrived home the same day that Tambor had to return from his surgery and, taking her to the vet, we discovered that she was sick. It was quite hard because the coccidia killed the rabbits and Flor was only a month old. Luckily, she is a very strong bunny and overcame it soon.
To be honest, she was separated from her mother too soon, possibly even before she was a month old, to put her in a cage with other rabbits and we took her away immediately. Between her illness and the recovery of Tambor, we couldn’t have them together until she was two months old and now the result is that Flor doesn’t know how to be a rabbit.
She is a precious little bun. She’s very tiny, only 500 gr. She has a super soft fur that goes in black gradient to caramel colour with a clear little highlight at the nape of the neck and under the nose and a white tail.
She is quick as a bullet and very elusive and, in addition, she is a professional jumper. She loves to run, jump and play non-stop, but also to be held and hugged and she dies for head and check rubs. She often falls asleep in our lap and gives so many kisses.
Despite her small size she is a glutton, while she has food she doesn’t stop eating. But it is quite curious that she prefers hay to vegetables. With the carrot it is another story.
Now that she has met Tambor, she has met her best friend forever. They both love each other and do everything together: eat, drink, play, sleep… if we manage to teach her how to use the toilet everything will be perfect.
